4/14/2008 Steve Receives Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) Designation

Steve Craffen completed a specialized educational program in professional divorce planning and was awarded the designation of CDFA. CDFA's are trained to provide financial information and assistance to people in divorce situations, including tax issues, settlement options and evaluating the financial ramifications of options for awarding child and spousal support.

1/15/2008 Tom Attends the Heckerling Conference

Tom Geraghty attended the Heckerling Conference, a prestigious estate planning conference sponsored by the University of Miami (Florida) Law School.

10/26/2007 Stonegate Purchases Rebalancing Software

Stonegate Wealth Management is purchasing is purchasing a software package to enable automating the rebalancing of our clients accounts. This software will allow Stonegate Wealth Management to test whether rebalancing should be performed on a very frequent basis allowing us to take advantage of market volatility for our clients' benefit. The software will also help us make our trading systems more efficient, also a key benefit to our clients. Stonegate expects to have the software fully integrated in our systems by early 2008.

10/20/2007 Steve Speaks at NAPFA Eastern Regional Conference

Steve Craffen served on a two-session, three person panel that discussed SEC audits. The first session focused on how to prepare for such audits, and the second session discussed what to do when the SEC knocks on your door. The three panel members have all experienced an SEC audit within the last few years and were the Chief Compliance Officers at their firms.

10/7/2007    Tom Becomes Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor

Tom Geraghty has completed all the requirements to be considered an elite IRA advisor in the Ed Slott program. Ed Slott is well known within the investments industry for his efforts to educate advisors on the intricacies of IRA's, including their distribution and taxation, and issues that arise when IRA's are inherited. Slott holds special training sessions that enable a select few of the hundreds of thousands of advisors in the country to call themselves an Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor.
