Sally was in her 80’s with more than enough money to meet her needs was still worried about money and was excessively frugal. She has several children and grandchildren who are financially secure. She is in good health and still able to travel.

Our Solution:

• We counseled Sally to be less concerned with leaving her children (and grandchildren) with some money in the future but to consider watching them enjoy it now.
• We re-ran her cash flow projections and stress tested them with some bad scenarios to show her that her assets were more than sufficient to provide for her for many years.

Sally was pleased to have the reassurance that she was in great shape and that she could help her family.
