Michael Borowski (mikeb@stonegatewealth.com) is a Financial Advisor with Stonegate Wealth Management.
Michael is a hard working and dedicated professional who has been providing quality financial and investment advice for individuals and business owners since 1997. As a trusted advisor and valued partner, Michael utilizes Stonegate’s Financial Planning process to create a customized planning and investment strategy for every client. This process enables each client to develop a plan that will provide financial security in a manner that is realistic for them; or to preserve and protect their wealth if financial security has already been attained. In addition, tax efficiency and managing risk play a large role in every financial plan and investment strategy that is created. Michael will also utilize the expertise of other qualified professionals when working with clients to help them achieve the goals and objectives that were developed as part of their financial plan.
Michael maintains the knowledge and skill necessary to provide the highest quality service and advice by meeting the rigorous continuing education requirements of the profession. He is also very active in the profession and maintains leadership roles in several professional organizations. He has also provided financial advice through the Financial Planning Association’s Email Hotline.
Michael is a member of various professional organizations including the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and its local New Jersey Chapter, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) where he is a leader in the Personal Financial Planning Interest Group and serves as a Board member and Officer for the Union County Chapter.
Michael is a graduate of Montclair State University (NJ) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He currently holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New Jersey.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Michael worked in the accounting profession for over 10 years. He worked in both the public and private sectors of the profession. He is married and enjoys playing golf.
